The exhibition has a multimedia design and invites visitors to discover the "wonders of medicine" for themselves. A "Digital Companion", an audio device specially developed for the exhibition, accompanies visitors through the exhibition according to their preferences. All exhibition content is available in German, English and French.


Getting here

Novartis Pavillon is located on the Novartis Campus – located in the northern corner of Basel, just minutes from the French and German borders. Our main entrance is easily accessible by public transport, bicycle or car.

Pick up snacks, light bites and hot and cold drinks at the Novartis Pavillon café, with food made with produce from local suppliers. Plenty of seating is available so you can dine in or take away.

From accessible bathrooms and family-friendly facilities to free wifi, there are plenty of services available at Novartis Pavillon to make your visit more comfortable.

Pick up souvenirs of your visit from the Novartis Pavillon shop, open 10am - 6pm, Tuesday - Sunday. Please note that you can pay only by card.

Children are welcome at Novartis Pavillon, and there are baby-changing facilities inside the building. The exhibition is aimed at a general audience from about age 12 and older.

The Novartis Pavillon and the Wonders of Medicine exhibition are fully accessible for all visitors.

We have bathrooms for everyone at Novartis Pavillon, including men’s, women’s, gender neutral, wheelchair accessible and baby-changing facilities.

Visitors can leave coats, bags and more in our cloakroom, located next to the welcome desk, or make use of the lockers on-site.

All visitors are invited to make use of free wifi at Novartis Pavillon.
